About

Andreas Galatariotis was born in 2000 in Paphos, Cyprus. Since 2019, he has been living and working in Athens, Greece, where he began his studies at the Athens School of Fine Arts. His artistic practice focuses primarily on painting and digital art, while also expanding into performance as a medium of expression.

Drawing has been a natural part of his life from an early age, evolving from childhood creativity into a continuous artistic exploration that defines his work today. Through his practice, Galatariotis explores emotion, identity, and personal experience, combining traditional techniques with contemporary approaches to create works that balance intuition and concept.

A central element of his artistic universe is the creation of a recurring character that appears in different scenarios to tell stories, share experiences, and communicate messages. These figures are known as his “girls.” Their distinctive white face functions as a deliberate artistic statement, a blank canvas that allows constant experimentation, transformation, and reinterpretation. The girls are portrayed as fabulous and unapologetic, representing a bold and contemporary approach to storytelling through art.

His work reflects an ongoing journey of experimentation and self-discovery, where visual language becomes a way to communicate ideas beyond words. Living between cultures and artistic environments has strongly influenced his perspective, shaping a body of work that moves between physical and digital realities while maintaining a deeply personal narrative.
